This photograph is my current project I am working on.
It is part of my
"Littles and Mammas" series and will be 18" x 30".
Intermediate Level Stylized Hawk in Butternut Wood

Appoximately 12" tall. I will do some of the roughing out. You can also carve this hawk in basswood, a softer easier wood to carve, and paint or stain it at home if you prefer. Using a small rotary tool with a sanding disc or bur. This carving requires a lot of hand sanding.
