    Appoximately 12" tall. I will do some of the roughing out. You can also carve this hawk in basswood, a softer easier wood to carve, and paint or stain it at home if you prefer. Using a small rotary tool with a sanding disc or bur. This carving requires a lot of hand sanding.

A wonderful experience!  Marie is an excellent teacher. She makes it fun, relaxing and surprisingly simple. This is fun for even someone like me, who doesn't have an artistic bone in her body. I have to say I did pretty well with my bird and El did such a great job with hers! Definitely will be back

Marie is a wonderful teacher: My daughter in law and my AJ both loved her class. AJ said it was very relaxing. Time just flew.  Hopefully we can take remote training from her for more projects.  That would be awesome!
